This recipe was inspired By my love of chocolate covered pretzels. The saltiness and crunch of the pretzels plays off the deep richness of the chocolate. Using a fluted tart pan really helps in the presentation and worth the tiny investment to buy one. The tart pan can also be used to make quiche and real gentleman do eat quiche. Because this is such a rich and decadent dessert you want to serve your guests thin slices. Make this dessert at least 6 hours or up to a day before you want to serve it.
